Idc what anyone thinks of me in this pic, because this night holds the fondest memories I’ve ever had when it comes to you. I drove by your house today on my way to Newport for Easter dinner, and during my ride through Portsmouth all I thought of was you, and everyone meeting in your driveway before heading to a destination that would start a wild night of Rolling Rocks, Sailor Jerry, beaches, guitar by the fire, deep heart to hearts, and nonstop laughter in your room with all the homies. you are a crazy awesome friend, and I’ll never forget that summer or you, ever. Happy Easter Chase 💜 #RIP

Today, thanks to The Dieline, I found out that it’s national vodka day! They posted a selection of their favorite vodka bottle designs (here), but didn’t include my personal favorite!
Reyka Vodka, was designed by London based Here Design. I saw it the other day while browsing nice packaging in the Selfridges food hall (I do this way too much) and it really stood out as the most appealing vodka they had. Something about the bottle and the label is very cool and contemporary, a bit stark almost. It feels really Icelandic which is an interesting proposition in a market dominated by Russian looking brands or slightly tacky more premium options.
I’d actually really like to try it and I don’t even like vodka, so the design is definitely doing something right! Definitely worth a look at the other projects done by Here; http://www.heredesign.co.uk/ very varied portfolio and I’m a big fan of their work.

A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The Chilling Opening Credits Of “True Detective”
HBO consistently has some of the most critically acclaimed programs on television. Less touted are the shows’ opening credits, often works of art in their own right. True Detective, which wraps up on Sunday night, is no exception.
